In March, our company celebrated an almost unheard-of safety record of 17 years without a lost-time incident in our factory. This is due to numerous safety policies and the care our employee-owners take in ensuring safety.
Our company celebrated an almost unheard-of safety record of 17 years without a safety incident in our factory.

- Hazard Communication including Globally Harmonized System identification and ratings
- Energy Control/Electrical Safety
- Emergency Evacuation and First Aid/Bloodborne Pathogens
- Walking/Working Surfaces
- Personal Protective Equipment
- Environmental Controls
- Hearing Conservation
- Machine Guarding
- Waste Recycling and Minimization
- Flammable Liquids
- Powered Industrial Vehicles
- Hand and Power Tools
- Respiratory Protection
Additionally, the factory concentrates on excellent engineering controls, which means that our state-of-the-art facility has the proper controls in place for a healthful workplace. The factory features the latest technology in fume extraction, mist collection, sound curtains for noise reduction and LED lighting design. In fact, when our workplace is rated for insurance purposes by an industrial hygienist, we receive a positive rate due to our low insurance risk.
What this means to you
Customers often request our EMR (Experience Modification Rate) via their vendor qualification questionnaires. Our latest EMR is .62, which is outstanding in manufacturing industries. Because of this low rate, company worker compensation premiums are low, and customers can be assured that no one was injured in creating their products.
Several customers per month on average also request our written OSHA log reports for the last three years, which include all statistical data regarding work incidents and comprehensive qualification reports regarding our safety programs and practices.
With safety of the utmost concern, our company is pleased to assure customers that our products are produced safely here in our Wisconsin-based facility. Our outstanding safety record is yet another reason that our company leads the industry in manufacturing high-quality industrial sampling solutions.
Our strong safety record makes our company uniquely qualified to provide sampling solutions to our customers that help them reach their goals of improving safety for their operators and the environment. Customers can have confidence that we know how to keep a process environment safe, starting with our own.
UPDATE: As of 7/23/2019, our safety record has improved to 7,200 days or over 19 years and going strong!
